How I got my start
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for over ten years as an Art Director in advertising. That time gave me real insight into the pressures and pace of creative industries—something many of my clients experience every day.
Through my ongoing education, clinical training, and hands-on experience in psychology, I’ve been continually inspired by the incredible resilience of the human spirit. This deepened my commitment to specialize in anxiety relief and trauma recovery — helping others heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of peace.
My professional background
Now, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California, Texas, and Utah, with specialized training in both traditional psychotherapy and creative arts therapies.
I was honored to become the first Art Therapy Resident at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where I partnered with the Comfort and Palliative Care team to provide bedside therapy for patients and families facing complex medical needs, including support through end-of-life care. I had the privilege of facilitating a monthly art therapy group for trans and non-binary youth.
From 2020 to 2022, I worked as a full-time Clinical Specialist at UCLA Health, supporting post-9/11 veterans from across the country in an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. My work there included daily Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), group art therapy, and facilitating caregiver groups focused on the unique challenges faced by spouses and family members of veterans with PTSD.
Today, I run a private practice serving high-functioning adults in creative professions who are navigating life transitions and unexpected changes. I help clients explore and manage the complexities of loss and grief, sex and intimacy, finances, fertility, parenting, aging, and caregiving — with a focus on maintaining authenticity and connection through change.
