Beginning

We’ll start by getting to know each other. I’ll pay attention to what you say, how you think, and I’ll observe the ways you act. I will join you, in whatever you’re experiencing to build a supportive and trusting relationship. We will work together to formulate goals that work for you. Goals that are consistent with your personal beliefs. During our time together I will listen, ask questions, and strive to understand your life (without judgement or criticism).


Middle

You’ve continued to show up and do the hard work. You’ve become more comfortable with identifying (and sitting) in your feelings. You’re navigating new (and old) things as they come up. You’re doing more of what feels good and less of what doesn’t.


End

You’re practicing your skills (consistently). You’re able to identify and tolerate your feelings. We’ll talk about your progress and discuss whether it’s an appropriate time to pause or end treatment.
